And it's made harder because we are often afraid to speak our truths because of an inherently patriarchal society. The truth is that we don't yet understand ourselves as a womankind because we often lack the confidence to discuss the things that often worry us all. As women, regardless of race or religion, there's more that binds us together than separates us (periods, pregnancy, menopause, to name but a few).
