Women in Science Japan

Women in Science Japan’s mission is to empower young women scientists in Japan and foster leadership in the sciences. Whether you’re a high school student, university student, academic, or industry professional, WISJ is a space to find support, connections, and inspiration. Our main activities include hosting professional development events and connecting members with mentors in Japan. Our organization is open to anyone regardless of their educational background, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality. We aim to create an environment where any person interested in supporting women and gender minority scientists feels welcome. Women in Science Japanのミッションは、日本の若い女性科学者に力を与え、科学分野におけるリーダーシップを育成することです。WISJは、高校生、大学生、研究者、産業界関係者を問わず、サポート、つながり、インスピレーションを得ることができる場です。私たちの主な活動は、専門能力開発イベントの開催や、会員と日本在住のメンターとのコネクション構築です。私たちの組織は、学歴、性別、性的指向、人種、国籍に関係なく、誰でも参加することができます。私たちは、女性やジェンダー・マイノリティの科学者を支援することに関心のある人なら誰でも歓迎される環境を作ることを目指しています
