Women in Science Japan’s mission is to empower young women scientists in Japan and foster leadership in the sciences. Whether you’re a high school student, university student, academic, or industry professional, WISJ is a space to find support, connections, and inspiration. Our main activities include hosting professional development events and connecting members with mentors in Japan. Our organization is open to anyone regardless of their educational background, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality. We aim to create an environment where any person interested in supporting women and gender minority scientists feels welcome.
