Women's Professional Networking Group (WPNG)

Founded in March 2001 by Catherine Bassompiere and Teresa Cooper Kislik, the Women’s Professional Networking Group in Lyon (WPNG) is an international networking group of English-speaking professional women living in Lyon and its surrounding area. Our goals are as follows: * Establish a presence in Lyon of English-speaking, internationally minded, professional women * Network for career enhancement and personal development * Create a forum for sharing professional experiences * Attend and/or organize special events or conferences of interest to professional women * And of course, enable friendship and fun! WPNG monthly meetings take place at KPMG Vaise, 51 Rue de St Cyr, 69009 Lyon. We begin at 7 pm. Membership As a WPNG member, you can: *attend Monthly Meetings — There is a monthly meeting (usually held on a Thursday evening of each month between September and June), with the first hour being dedicated to networking and light snacks, followed by a guest speaker forum or a facilitated discussion * attend our After-work Drinks, Winter and Summer Social Events — WPNG is also about friendship and fun! We organise social events to allow members to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment * be part of the WPNG Private LinkedIn Group – this is a fabulous and immediate platform to contact other members, seek advice and recommendations, ask questions, share articles, professional news or job offers, and celebrate member achievements.
