About WoMen+Sea
WoMen+Sea promotes and strengthens sustainability in the maritime industry through consultancy services and social impact activities. OUR WORK We advise companies across maritime industries (cruising, fishing, offshore renewables, ports and shipping) on meeting the growing demand for environmental, social and governance performance. We support the UN, member states and educational institutions in accelerating the maritime industry’s transition towards sustainability. We also partners with social entrepreneurs, supports development projects, (re)invests, and seeks grants to upscale our social impact activities in support of our beneficiaries. WHO WE ARE: We are a group of qualified sustainability experts with backgrounds in law, business, human resources, science, and education bringing together two decades of experience working with UN organisations, governments, companies, and civil society. OUR FOCUS We work with single organisations or industry-wide initiatives on three dimensions of sustainability important for the future of the maritime sector: 1. Gender, diversity, & inclusion 2.
