The mission of the Women’s Equity Center and Action Network (WE CAN) is to educate, engage, and activate women of color. To fulfill this mission and amplify the power of women of color in policy and systems change on key social issues, WE CAN provides culturally competent civic education, increases and strengthens the civic engagement of women of color, builds a multiracial, multi-cultural, intergenerational, and intersectional network of skilled women of color leaders who advocate for social change, and facilitates policy environments that are responsive to the needs of women of color.
