Because of the depth of its experience and expertise in tax matters, it is often retained directly by other law and accounting firms as legal consultants and to direct overall case strategy. The firm also has extensive experience defending micro-Captive Insurance Cases throughout the IRS audit process, including client interviews, document requests and settlement negotiations. In March 2015, the firm litigated the first micro-Captive Insurance Case in U.S. Tax Court.
