Our first AI-based, voice-centric mobile app, "Woomer" is available on Android and iOS platforms. Woomer tackles a unique problem that will become more obvious worldwide – speaking is the most natural way of communication not texting. The need is to have an intuitive and simple voice based messaging app that anyone can use.
Woomer strives to assist everyone irrespective of their literary, location and technology knowledge, enabling them to converse with dear ones anywhere in the world, free of cost. Consider the large swath of the world’s less-educated, online for the first time thanks to low-end smartphones and cheap data plans. These types of users will only increase thanks to intuitive apps like Woomer that let them navigate and communicate despite poor literacy or cumbersome texting.
Woomer works with or without data network or WiFi and supports 18 languages in offline mode (no restriction for online) effectively encompassing majority (~80%) of the world population. It also supports free voicemail and Read- -out-Loud articles and news. These features are missing from other platforms and makes Woomer attractive for users all over the world.
The primary target segment is not technology savvy, not fully literate, may not have good data connectivity and may not have other meaningful alternatives. The secondary target segment is technology savvy, have good data connectivity and are literate, but find texting cumbersome compared with voice.
Our goal is to position Woom for development of systems across different industries. We envision a host of voice-centric products based on the Woom platform.
