Work for Life Uganda

Work for Life is a non-profit organization founded by a group of business leaders with an interest in using business to help improve the lives of people living in poverty. Work for Life Uganda is a legally incorporated Organization registered as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act of Uganda. Work for Life Uganda is a Business Training and Development Organization affiliated to Work for Life USA. Our core aim is to ensure that people achieve their full God given potential through business training and ownership. Through this business training, we create a unique opportunity to get behind friends living in poverty and help them take action and become the solution to the problems that exist in their communities. Work for Life celebrates those businesspersons as the change-makers. The entrepreneurs that step up and start businesses are the real heroes. Work for Life is merely a catalyst. Work for Life has trained business for over 10 years in Uganda and other parts of the world. Work for Life Uganda trains business in 17 Districts of Uganda including Kampala, Mukono, Wakiso, Kyankwanzi, Mpigi, Jinja, Kyenjojo, Mayuge, Kabarole, Kamwenge, Kayunga, Buikwe, Bunyangabu, Masaka, Kasese, Kamuli, Kaliro and Luwero. WFL has undertaken trainings in; South Africa, Rwanda, South Sudan, Kenya and Zambia. WFL has worked with partners including; Youth Consult, Cornerstone Development, Child Fund, Refuge and Hope, Cherish, African Children’s Choir, Family Legacy Zambia, People Bridge Kenya, Africa New Life Rwanda, International Justice Mission, ACFODE, Micro Business Mentors, ARUWE and Mercy Child Care Ministries. To date, WFL has trained over 30,000 men and women business. In the last two years, WFLU has trained over 15,000 women and men business working with over 100 certified business trainers. At Work for Life Uganda, we strongly believe that you cannot give what you do not have. Thus, to qualify as a WFLU business Instructor, one must have a business.
