Work Wild

Work Wild is a campaign that reaches out to people who are making one of the most important choices in their lives — their career. We’re here to educate you on the diversity of employment choices in forestry and open some eyes to the amazing benefits of working in this sustainable industry. The forest industry is the only industry that can offer you a balance between opportunity, meaning and a desired lifestyle. Work Wild is an Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA) led project with support from the industry. The Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA) is a private, non-profit industry association that represents the interests of the forest products industry operating in the province. Our members produce pulp, newsprint, lumber and panelboard products from Alberta’s forests, and are committed to sustainable forest management, environmental sustainability and strong, healthy communities.
