Workbench is building the AI-powered digital infrastructure for skilled trades in the U.S. Our vertical platform connects students, educators, and employers—closing workforce gaps, increasing the availability of workforce data, and strengthening domestic industrial capabilities. Through our three products, we support the full lifecycle of talent development in the trades: Workbench Core equips non-traditional educators—workshops, bootcamps, makerspaces, and workforce programs—with a modern operating system for managing classes, students, and operations. These institutions train nearly half of all students entering the trades today, but until now, have operated without centralized infrastructure or visibility. Workbench Core not only streamlines their workflows, it generates the high-fidelity data needed to understand, support, and scale this critical segment of the workforce. Workbench Compass plugs accredited trade schools and technical colleges into our network, unlocking access to student recruitment tools, data-driven insights, and direct pipelines to industry employers. Workbench Bridge gives employers a single point of access to recruit from our thoroughly vetted talent pool using higher-fidelity filters, signals, and pathways than alternatives. By unifying fragmented training ecosystems with purpose-built software—and layering in AI to power discovery, personalization, and job matching—Workbench is becoming the connective tissue of America’s skilled workforce.
