Workforce Solutions Group MA

The Workforce Solutions Group (WSG) is a statewide advocacy coalition that brings together business, labor, community, and workforce organizations to advance a clear and unified policy agenda for workforce development. WSG advocates for systems change and alignment among workforce, education, and economic development agencies in Massachusetts, and serves as the leading advocate for skills training for lower income adults and youth across the Commonwealth. WSG works with policy makers, stakeholders, training providers, young people, and employers to better align the workforce system and increase resources so residents can earn sustaining wages and employers can access a skilled workforce needed to grow our state’s economy. Over the years, WSG’s advocacy, in partnership with the Legislature, has added over $135 million in new funding for workforce development and has helped spearhead changes in policy and programs that continue to impact Massachusetts’ workforce and education systems.
