Work in Sport is a youth-focused education, coaching, and events platform built to inspire the next generation of sport industry professionals.
We run dynamic in-school workshops, live student events, and a dedicated career coaching programme - all designed to open students’ eyes to the many roles in sport beyond just playing. Whether it’s coaching, media, business, science, tech or performance analysis, our mission is to help young people turn their passion for sport into real, meaningful careers.

Work in Sport was co-founded by James Hitchman (FutureStep Programme) and James Cox (Work in Football). Together, they bring years of experience in recruitment, sport careers, and student development – backed by a growing international network of clubs, federations, schools, and industry leaders.
