Memes have become an important part of online culture and define how we communicate in the age of the internet. It has been reported that the average person spends about 6 ½ hours a day on the internet. Major companies and brands are taking advantage of this and have begun to utilize internet memes in their marketing strategies. Even political candidates have utilized internet memes to promote themselves and their ideas. It's time we use the power of memes to promote another important product, safety.
