Workroom W3 Architects

Workroom W3 is an architectural consultancy where we experiment, explore and infer down to creative solutions that are functional, experiential and contextually responsive. We, as a team of Architects and our counterparts, work on diverse scales ranging from building architecture and interior design to urban design. Occasionally, we also engage ourselves into product and furniture design. We simply don’t design to build, but begin with putting forth three critical questions to inform each design process – What, Where and Why? At the end of this brain-storming, we have found ourselves to be surer of what we do, and the design is much more appropriated in terms of our client’s need. The founding members are Ar. Prakhar Ranjan & Ar. Shivani P. Ranjan. Prakhar, senesced as an Architect and an Urban designer has worked for about 10 years in the profession (As in March 2022). Graduated from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Pune), he pursued his post-grad from CEPT University (Ahmedabad). Apart from free-lancing over the years, Prakhar has briefly worked with esteemed architects of India like Yatin Pandya (A’bad), Kiran Shinde (Pune) and Sanjay Patil (Nashik). As of late, he shortly worked with a German firm called Blocher Partners India. Shivani attains special flair in arts and crafts, and has pursued her post-grad in Interior Design from CEPT University (A'bad). She earlier graduated as an Architect from BNCA (Pune) followed by a brief training with Ar. Aniket Bhagwat (A’bad), a year of association with her mentor Ar. Snehal Shah (A’bad) and some free-lancing between Ahmedabad and Gorakhpur.
