MoyoMed is a virtual doctor for remote medicine. MoyoMed is a mobile software platform that allows local health workers in Malawi to triage patients, educate on treatments and preventative care, and store health data for later use and analysis - all without cellular or wifi. In Malawi in Africa, "Moyo" means "Life". We believe in restoring life to as many people as possible through practical location-based health solutions and holistic community care. We believe that local solutions and teams lead to local improvement and independence. MoyoMed combines advanced in-field diagnostics for triage and educational content for patient treatment and preventative education. The platform is used by remote clinicians and health workers that can provide higher levels of medical care with lower educational barriers.
