WORLD SPACE Space is a growing area of focus for underprivileged continents of Africa, LatAm, island countries as it rebrands from a manufacturing, trading and agriculture producer to a technology hub including space tech. Swiss Capital Group led humanitarian consortium plans to build a new facility in the Principality of Cryptoporticos (150 acres) in Ghana’s WA Metropolis to help the region train talent and develop technology in the space sector, poised to become Africa’s National Space Science and Technology Centre and University Laboratory for Space Research to build a joint research and development centre in the digital economy city. Scientists and engineers at the R&D facility will work on remote-sensing satellites, advanced telescopes and exploration missions following the SpaceX and Blue Origin successful outerspace suborbital missions.
