World View Indo-Pacific

World View Indo-Pacific is a wholly owned subsidiary of World View. World View Indo-Pacific has established a stratospheric centre of excellence at Melbourne Connect, a leading innovation hub in partnership with The University of Melbourne. This strategic partnership will facilitate stratospheric research and development at universities and research institutions across all Australian states and territories, and eventually into the wider Indo-Pacific region. Additionally, this stratospheric centre of excellence will identify and partner with small- and medium-sized Indo-Pacific organizations to develop technology and talent in support of World View’s global supply chain, playing a key role in World View’s international growth. Our stratospheric high-altitude platforms (HAPs) have demonstrated accomplishments for a variety of scientific, commercial and government organizations. Our proprietary stratospheric balloon flight technology delivers better insights with far lower costs and lead times than satellites and other traditional aerial sources. Our remotely-navigated Stratollite® flies five times closer to Earth than a satellite, capturing high-resolution imagery with much greater detail. And since it can persist over an area for weeks at a time, it provides a clearer picture of changes on the ground than a satellite that only flies over the area at the same time every day. Our high-resolution electro-optical, infrared, radar, hyperspectral, radio relay, and other remote sensing capabilities can deliver a wealth of insights across a range of applications. From helping agricultural yields to less-invasive energy and mineral exploration to tracking wildfires, storm systems and greenhouse gases.
