The World Chilli Alliance (WCA) is an international nonprofit organization committed to fostering sustainable interactions of biodiversity, traditions, technologies and usages related to the promotion of a global “Chilli Culture”, with the aim of better educating, informing and inspiring “Chilli Stakeholders” from all over the world. The World Chilli Alliance, by recognizing the historical role of chilli during its long trip from Latin America to Europe, and from there to Asia along the ancient Silk Road, believes that chilli is linked to many other aspects of life: food, agriculture, environment, governments, science, technology, art, culture, economic development, industrialization and health. Our Philosophy “Chilli is much more than a spice. it is an ever-lasting passe-partout which inspires friendly encounters between people from all over the world in all sectors” The Mission The World Chilli Alliance envisions a global community of chilli stakeholders aimed at creating and voicing out practical and sustainable solutions in support of research, cultivation, production, processing, distribution, promotion and consumption of chilli.
