The World Chilli Alliance (WCA) is an international nonprofit organization committed to fostering sustainable interactions of biodiversity, traditions, technologies and usages related to the promotion of a global “Chilli Culture”, with the aim of better educating, informing and inspiring “Chilli Stakeholders” from all over the world.
The World Chilli Alliance, by recognizing the historical role of chilli during its long trip from Latin America to Europe, and from there to Asia along the ancient Silk Road, believes that chilli is linked to many other aspects of life: food, agriculture, environment, governments, science, technology, art, culture, economic development, industrialization and health.
