About Worldhealer, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization
Worldhealer, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 170(c)(2) and section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Founded in 2008, Worldhealer's headquarter is located in Santa Barbara, California. The programs Worldhealer has developed and implemented are comprehensive educational and leadership programs that encourage respect and understanding of the world, its people and cultures and current events, and with it promote appreciation, self-worth and community-based service inspiring long-term systemic and behavioral change. Worldhealer was created based on the belief that by exposing young people to global issues and challenges, it will raise their awareness and understanding of the wider world, develop critical thinking skills, and promote philanthropy and cooperation. This fosters intellectual and personal growth worldwide and encourages a positive global future of sustainable economic and social community development. The goal of Worldhealer is to cultivate understanding and appreciation of global diversity and teach the participants leadership skills which transform limiting thoughts and emotional responses into comprehension and empowerment. Worldhealer inspires participants to take action and drives them forward towards the great things that they want to experience in life with a positive and open-minded attitude. Participants develop their sense of ownership and responsibility in the changes they want to see in themselves and in the world. Next, Worldhealer trains participants to develop and lead programs themselves and pass on their achieved understanding and acquired inspiration to others — paying it forward.
