When the idea was born end of 2014 it was clearly a rather unusual idea, this idea of "composting in your living room". What sounded like a wild and - to many potential investors - as an unmarketable idea has proven to be spot on in delivering on actual consumer needs: Helping people to do their share in improving their enviromental footprint. Bringing urban dwellers closer to nature again - whilst delivering on another growing desire: the wish for empowerment, to produce rather than just to consume. All WormUp products are made from natural and easily recycleable but very long lasting materials. Using ceramics for composting systems is the best material supporting the aerobic composting processes, letting the mini ecosystems thrive without any nasty smells.
