About Woman of Significance

Woman of Significance ("WOS") is a non-profit organisation aimed at young and mature women within the United Kingdom. WOS is for the woman who feels purposeless, ungifted and insignificant in this world. We help this woman by hosting a variety of themed events and workshops that teach her that she is significant, valued, purposed and can do great things with her life. We equip her with practical skills and tools to benefit her social, economic, mental and physical needs. A Woman of Significance is more than a successful woman, she is a woman who ignites change within her family, local community, society and we believe the world will benefit from her. How Do We Achieve This? W.O.S provides a variety of workshops and events throughout the year such as Woman! Get Your Coins which deals with eradicating poverty and teachings on debt, credit, savings and entrepreneurship. However, we are more than just hosting events, we are hoping to be the mother to some and sister to many. We believe in going above and below our events to actually support and mentor the ladies after all events. What are our goals/vision? Our goals are to teach every young and mature woman within the U.K that they are significant in this world. We want them to understand and believe that there is greatness within them, that she is the key to change. We want every insecure woman and a teenage girl who is filled with self-doubt, worry and low confidence to be set free from negative thinking and to walk in boldness, knowing that she can find her purpose and fulfil her desires and dreams. W.O.S has plans of hosting workshops such as the Woman Get Your Coins financial seminar in secondary schools.
