Women's Ontario Tamil Sports League (WOTSL)

ATHLETIC. FEARLESS. BEAUTIFUL. The WOTSL (Women’s Ontario Tamil Sports League) is a recreational league that provides a platform for women across the Greater Toronto Area to participate in collaborative sports. It is an opportunity for women of all skill levels to learn, develop and showcase their talents in both basketball and volleyball. This league creates a professional experience for its members via coaches, referees, jerseys, statistics, and photography throughout the season. Although the majority of players are of the Tamil descent, the WOTSL encourages all ethnicities to participate. It has proven to be a social outlet for women to network with one another, build relationships and create support systems outside of the league environment. The WOTSL provides its sponsors with a platform to promote their business in the emerging trend of women successes in male-dominated fields. The league has a great following on social media, which includes 475+ likes on Facebook and 700+ followers on Instagram. Marketing, finance, and technology are lead by executives with years of industry experience. The WOTSL team brings a mix of technical and creative skills, combined with a passion for giving back to the community.
