Current plans for regional events include educational forums, and social and service opportunities. The goal of the Kansas & Missouri Chapter is to strengthen the next generation of women leaders in the public finance industry in our states. Our members concentrate our mentoring efforts both for women currently working in the public finance industry and for younger women who might consider future career opportunities in our industry. For current public finance professionals, we provide strong role models and opportunities for discussion about the specific challenges facing working women. For young women in college and high school, we promote the benefits of careers in public finance and encourage them to pursue public finance careers.
