WPU-ATBI

The DOST-PCAARRD-WPU Agriculture and Aquaculture Technology Business Incubator is a project funded by the DOST-PCAARRD through its project “DOST-PCAARRD National Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubation Program Batch 2”. It aims to provide services towards commercialization of research-based technologies of Western Philippines University (WPU), as well as, of other agriculture and aquaculture-related matured technologies that were developed outside of WPU but were tested under Palawan conditions. With WPU implementing this project, technology adapters, traders, entrepreneurs, research faculty and staff will have access to skills development and enhancement necessary to start a business. WPU-ATBI support includes the management of new and mature technologies having commercial applications, management of corporate research agreements leading to a new discovery of technology and provision of physical and business support services among potential agri-fisheries entrepreneurs.
