The Wayne Radio Amateur Emergency Team (WRAET) of Wayne, NJ is an amateur radio club affiliate of the American Radio Relay League, ARRL, and is dedicated to supporting Wayne Township OEM and Wayne Township ARES/RACES. Club will have Wayne OEM-directed drills resulting in an expanded footprint of Wayne OEM as well as backup communications. We are also a general interest club with members interested in HF, MARS, DXing, JOTA, and all aspects of the hobby We invite all to join us in our monthly meetings, and becoming members of the club. Don't have a license? we will help you obtain yours. We, also, operate three repeaters under the KD2KWT callsign; all repeaters are located on top of St. Joseph hospital in Wayne, NJ. Radio Amateurs are invited to join us on the open repeaters for QSOs and regular amateur use. Club members exclusively can access the repeaters from anywhere via EchoLink using KR2I-L. (node:660861)
