The Writing for Research and Academic Practice (WRAP) network develops, supports and strengthens methods of social writing as effective practice within and beyond academia. Methods of social writing provide a structured approach to writing with others on individual projects to build productivity, creativity, and scholarly community.
WRAP has three broad aims:
(1) develop and sustain a community of practice that sets quality standards and trains facilitators in social writing interventions;
(2) support, collaborate on, and publish research on social writing methods; and
(3) strengthen and embed social writing in academic research and practice with an impact on writers’ career progression, self-efficacy, and well-being.
