COMFORT: the standard is known for creating extremely energy efficient buildings that require very little heating and cooling to maintain a comfortable temperature all year round. On average passive houses record energy savings of 90%.
Contrary to popular belief, that these buildings are sealed spaces; passive houses can be breezy and connected to the outdoors - its only that they don't rely on the outdoor environment to perform.
