About World Renewable Energy Congress

The World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) and World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) is a non-profit organization established in 1990 to promote the transmission of renewable energy technology from developed to developing nations. Prof. Dr. Adnan Badran, Deputy Director General of UNESCO, served as Honorary President for over a decade. WREC, based in the UK, organizes conferences, seminars, and publishes books, journals, and magazines in the field of renewable energy. The Congress has been hosted in over 40 countries, including Australia, the United States, Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and Sweden, with participation from more than 80 countries. WREC and WREN are dedicated to advancing renewable energy technologies and facilitating knowledge transfer.
