Writ Large continues to evolve.
First, we were Writ Large Press, a tiny indie publisher based in Los Angeles, pushing out 1 or 2 books per year from some of our very favorite unknown authors.
More recently, we became Writ Large Projects as we have expanded to the other coast and our community building ambitions grew.
After 15 years, we have created Writ Large Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit certified in Pennsylvania, to oversee our upcoming brick & mortar Writ Large Labs & Books and develop/provide countless programs for the community in Braddock, PA and beyond.
The mission of Writ Large Foundation is to build networks of support to develop authors from historically marginalized communities, discover audiences, strengthen neighborhoods, and innovate new storytelling and publishing technologies.
