WSH BME Kidney Network is a registered charity that provides advice, support, advocacy, resources and kidney health information to Black kidney disease and transplant patients and their families, the first of its kind in the UK.
Our support network includes an online forum for patients, kidney health educational sessions with NHS Renal Consultants, for those who need help with understanding the disease and other related conditions.
We also offer community awareness campaigns to educate the community on the importance of early diagnosis of kidney disease and organ donation. In doing so, we promote awareness about how to prevent kidney disease and other related issues.
We focus on four main areas: (1) Advice, (2) Support, (3) Kidney Health Education and (4) Advocacy.
