The World Trade Centre Mumbai promoted by M. Visvesvaraya Industrial Research and Development Centre (MVIRDC) got established on June 26, 1970. It was the vision of the eminent engineer of India and Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya to build an International Trade Centre in the city of Mumbai.
The World Trade Centre Mumbai is a unique entity and a successful model under Public, Private Partnership. A "Not-for-profit" organization that provides a platform for multifarious trade services and space-based facilities.
Pioneering the World Trade Center movement in India, the World Trade Centre Mumbai promoted by the M. Visvesvaraya Industrial Research and Development Centre (MVIRDC) is one of the premier WTCs in the country, recognised as a prestigious trade and business destination to promote India’s International Trade. WTC Mumbai is also a member of the World Trade Centers Association, New York which is an unparalleled network of 330 WTCs across 100 countries.
