Hård PVC er den mest anvendte plast i byggeriet, og siden 1997 har WUPPI A/S sørget for, at PVC-byggeprodukter kan blive indsamlet og genanvendt.
WUPPI samarbejder med Ragn-Sells Danmark A/S om indsamling og genanvendelse, og er støttet finansielt af VinylPlus®, som er den europæiske PVC-industris miljøprogram.
WUPPI er grundlagt af de fem danske plastproducenter Wavin, Uponor, Primo, Plastmo og Icopal, og har derudover en række associerede medlemmer. Ordningen er en tidlig form for udvidet producentansvar (EPR).
