The Foundation was established to carry on the interests of its founder, Dr. Walter Wiechetek. Throughout his career, he understood the value of historical preservation, support for patient advocacy and promoting and funding education in both science and the arts. His legacy is to carry on what he viewed as the primary purpose in life and that is “to make a difference”. The Foundation is devoted to that cause.
