Wwii Women'S Memorial Foundation

Wwii Women'S Memorial Foundation company information, Employees & Contact Information

The WWII Women's Memorial Foundation is dedicated to building a national memorial in our Nation's Capital to honor over 18 million civilian women who worked during WWII. These women, many of whom entered industries previously closed to them, not only kept the home front running but also paved the way for future generations of women in the workforce. Currently, only 6% of commemorative works in Washington D.C. prominently feature women. This lack of representation means we are missing a vital part of our national history. Women deserve greater recognition on federal lands. The “Rosie the Riveters” and their contributions have been overlooked for too long. They showed up for us during a critical time in our history; now it’s our turn to ensure their legacy is remembered and celebrated. Join us in our mission to give these trailblazing women the recognition they deserve.
