WAVE Siren's wireless communication is independent of Wi-Fi and integrated battery back-up ensures functionality during local storms.
The ultimate protection for valuable electrical equipment from lightning is to disconnect it from conductive electrical systems. The WAVE Sequencer installed in our Critical Asset Protection Bulkheads, automatically initiates a programmable shutdown process to place critical equipment in a protected state when a lightning threat is present. The protected asset is automatically reconnected and powered back on once the threat has passed and it is safe to resume normal operations.
Good-Engineering-Practices allow Strike Guard and WAVE Siren equipment to properly function for years with minimal maintenance required. Internal system self-tests assure the user the system functions properly and alerts users when problems arise.
