WZR ceramic solutions - we make the future of ceramics We are a R&D service provider in the field of ceramics: we investigate ceramics, we coat with ceramics and we do 3D printing of ceramics. 3D printing: We have all the commercial 3D printing processes for making ceramics in-house. We provide independent advice and find the best process for your products. We have 14 different 3D printers for manufacturing ceramic samples and parts. We use the following processes: Binder jetting, material extrusion (with filament, with CIM granulate, with paste), Vat photopolymerisation, material jetting and 3D screen printing. We develop recipes, optimise processes, do the complete process engineering and manufacture ceramic components. Our spectrum ranges from silicate ceramics and oxide ceramics to sophisticated functional ceramics. https://wzr-ceramic.de/en/3d-printing/ Ceramic testing: We examine all kinds of technical ceramics. This includes the physical as well as the chemical characterisation of your samples. We use scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) to evaluate the microstructure. For the mechanical characterisation we have different methods of strength testing and hardness testing at our disposal. Since many applications of technical ceramics are above room temperature, we also carry out various tests at high temperatures: Thermal elongation, hot bending strength, hot abrasion and thermal shock resistance. https://wzr-ceramic.de/en/testing/ ceramic coating: Under the label CerCoat® we offer the development and application of our ceramic coatings. The layer thickness can be varied in the range of 0.5-50µm, and we can also adjust the properties between electrically insulating, thermally insulating or wetting. https://wzr-ceramic.de/en/coating/
