X-Met Metals Ltd is unique metal recycling company which is set up and designed to make weighing in your metal as simple and stress free as possible. We have a yard Based in skelmersdale Lancashire but our main business model is us coming to you. We have industrial scales built into all the vans so this allows us to come to your home, work place or site and weigh the metals and pay you on the spot before we leave.
We then bring the metals back to our yard where they are processed to gain maximum value and then stored and sold in large quantities to refinery’s who buy and recycle the metals back into their original state and then re used to make new products.
If you are a tradesman or a company owner time is precious and time is money, we have found over the years that this method is more cost effective than going to a yard as you get the same money with no fuel costs and time costs. You do not need a waste carrier licence as we do that for you and we are fully insured to carry scrap metal in the vans and supply you with a waste transfer note on every collection so you can keep for record and to prove you have disposed of your metals correctly.
