Shaping the Future of Cities with x-CITE & CitiVerse. x-CITE is a Co-funded European project using Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make cities smarter, greener, and more inclusive. At its core lies the CitiVerse - a digital version of the city - where citizens and leaders can explore, interact, and shape urban life in an intuitive way. x-CITE brings the CitiVerse to life through three real-world pilot sites: Tampere (FI), Rotterdam (NL), and Flanders (BE). Each pilot explores how Extended Reality (XR), AI, and citizen-centric design can make urban planning more inclusive, transparent, and effective.
