Xhuma foundation is dedicated to creating deeply satisfying relationship between mothers and children. Having a warm connected relationship with your children is definitely one of the most enjoyable aspects of parenting. Doing fun activities together, sharing experiences and having good conversations all make creating deeply satisfying relationship between mothers and children. Xhuma seeks to reduce child abandonment as well as reduce abortions. Our main goal is enable mothers accept and love their children pre and after delivery. Xhuma was founded by Caroline Kimani. Her story has inspired hundreds of mothers across the world.Today Xhuma works with programs and activities promoting single mothers mental health.
History
Two years ago Caroline kimani founded Xhuma Foundation a non-profit making organisation working to strengthen the relationship between mothers and their children. She has inspired hundreds of women across the globe with her story. she's a mother to triplets two boys and a girl. Her moving testimony and zeal in life is meant to reach to mothers out there and make a difference in their lives through counseling, mentorship, workshops and retreats to help develop child- mother stronger bonds.
OUR WORK GOES A LONG WAY
There is nothing as powerful as mother's love and nothing as healing as a child's soul" Why should mothers connect to their children? the most obvious reason is to build a strong and lasting relationship which has enormous benefits for children in terms of building their self-esteem and confidence and providing them with a secure base in the world. Our work has reduced child abandonment and abortions through the relationships that have been developed. Children and young teenagers who feel connected parents are often less likely to make reckless decisions.
OUR MISSION
Did you know, the United Nations estimate 60 million children and infants have been abandoned by their families and live on their own or in orphanages.
