Xi Group Ltd is actively working to bring core DevOps values to a broader audience. We believe that DevOps is right path to build products and establish Ops teams. We've been practicing similar techniques over multiple projects with repeatable success over the last 15 years. Monitoring should be system-wide and N-dimentional. Following system vitals is not enough in the elastic world. It should be cloud-friendly and understand the application architecture to be of any actual use. It can no longer be reactive. Monitoring should produce actionable information. Active feedback control plane operates on monitoring-generated data and utilizes the automation primitives to drive the overall system into desired state. And this control plane be reasonably simple or arbitrary complex. It is tied to the system specifics and requirements for scalability, capacity, reliability, availability.
