The Phinix product Ximira is developing uses high powered mobile (edge) computing combined with unique, never semantically segmented sidewalk data to provide the blind user with a package that sees the world around it and relays it to the user over bluetooth audio in a fraction of a section. We, as blind people, want to go anywhere and do anything so edge computing is the only option that gives instant feedback in any part of the world. Harnessing unique cooling solutions in modern fabric design, our partner created bag keeps the compute unit running for more than 8 hours on a single charge giving fay to day freedom for the blind and visually impaired community.
