The nations have high vulnerability to climate change. But their preparedness is hampered by lack of access to climate tech innovations. At the same time, Europe is a world leader in climate tech innovation, with the largest number of climate tech startups. But these startups are struggling to scale due to: A shortage of growth capital and structurally low growth home markets A pullback of in climate investment in the US, their preferred go-to market for scaling This global imbalance — tech-rich but capital-constrained Europe, and a capital rich and fast growing India+SEA region hungry for climate innovations — is the opportunity.
