Gordon most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Sales at Princess Cruises, the 3rd largest cruise line in the world. Gordon and his team drove business-building experience initiatives including Discovery at Sea, bringing Discovery Channel and Animal Planet experiences to Princess; The Voice of the Ocean, a multi-channel experiential onboard talent competition in partnership with NBC’s The Voice; world premieres of exclusive musicals from Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz; and new culinary offerings including Chef Curtis Stone’s first restaurant at sea, Share. Gordon spearheaded Princess’s “personalization at scale” initiative and new marketing technology solutions which drove double-digit ROI improvements in advertising and e-commerce conversions. As Disney’s Executive Vice President of Marketing, Content & Technology within Home Entertainment, Gordon created Disney’s $3B direct–to–video category, led its animated library and catalog re-launch strategy, and oversaw Disney’s expansion into DVD and Blu-ray including the Blu-ray+DVD+Digital combo packs and top sellers The Lion King, High School Musical and ABC’s LOST. He led Disney’s digital marketing and content strategies with Apple’s iTunes, and his team developed the industry’s #1 CRM loyalty program, Disney Movie Rewards, and #1 subscription program, Disney Movie Club.
