XR INTERACTION

We are the first innovation network for research and development of new technologies of Extended Reality (XR) for socially and culturally valuable applications with over 50 partners from the tech industry and science. Our network is funded by the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Many research institutions and technology companies own key technologies that provide the basis for innovations in the field of Extended Reality. Our goal is to bring together these competencies across companies and universities to form strategic partnerships. The goal is to bundle technologies for joint innovation projects. Extended Reality applications are based on a variety of technological layers. We focus on the entire technological implementation chain from the basic technology to the applications themselves, focusing on fields like culture, social participation and communication, education, health and much more.
