Xtent Innovations is a robotics startup focused on developing hardware and software solutions related to robotics, automation and artificial intelligence. The primary product of the company is a highly dexterous, tentacle-like robotic arms that can navigate cluttered and hard-to-reach environments with ease. Our proprietary design leverages custom actuators, unconventional mechanisms, and sensor-rich feedback systems that enable real-time environment mapping, collision avoidance, and adaptive control. The result is a highly intelligent robotic arm that can bend into various shapes and manipulate complex objects with precision. While our technology is applicable across multiple sectors—including nuclear, aerospace, defense, and disaster response—our current focus is on underwater asset maintenance. Specifically, we address the costly problem of biofouling on ship hulls, which can increase fuel consumption by up to 40%. Our ROV-based solution, equipped with our robotic tentacles, removes bio-growth efficiently, helping maritime operators save fuel, reduce emissions, and cut operational costs.
