Yagi Speech

Yagi Speech mission statement: “To enhance verbal and non-verbal communication skills by providing quality speech-language therapy and tutorial services worldwide.” Marisa, the founder of Yagi Speech, created this company to provide quality speech/language services to the international community. She has a bachelor's degree in Art, a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders, and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, all from the University of Wyoming. She has experience in numerous clinical settings including public schools, private schools, charter schools, hospitals, private tutoring, and early intervention clinic. She is accredited by American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), holds California and Wyoming licensure. She developed the idea for this company after living in many countries and noticing unmet demand for accessible and affordable speech/language services focused on the international and bilingual community. She has lived, worked, and studied in the United States, Japan, Egypt, and Kenya. She is native bilingual in English and Japanese and specializes in bilingual speech language therapy. She has added Japanese Instruction and Fun-Education to her services due to the overwhelming numbers of children currently studying at home during the covid-19 pandemic. “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” -- George Bernard Shaw
