The Yam Collective (The Yam Co.) is dedicated to supporting and championing visibility for Black and marginalised creatives in the arts. We are committed to enhancing the visibility by curating immersive and interactive events that showcase the rich tapestry of creativity within our communities. Producing events that can educate and evoke social change, which in turn enriches our communities as well as diversifying the status quo of the western ‘white cube’ art world. Passionate about spotlighting the incredible talent and stories of Black and marginalised artists, creators, and visionaries. Providing support and giving these artists the space to be nurtured and showcase their creativity. We believe in the power of collaboration and community.
