YANgels - Yangon Angels Network

YANgels - formed in Nov 2016 strives to bring together Myanmar’s first ever Angel Network to boost local morale and encourage international funding sources. Other than funding, our angels provide active mentorship, logistics or distribution assistance, sales deals or network connections, damage control assistance, etc as a secondary responsibility towards the portfolio of the YANgels businesses. We do not hold a corpus of funds and do not invest in events. We're probably the only investment network in Myanmar that upholds and strives to promote a healthy 'Lean Startup' principal for startups to learn to invest, grow and nurture the right way. We strive to look for hidden gems, local talent, supported or with our help, supported by international learnings to nurture their businesses. We fund 'businesses'. We don't fund pre-revenue or ideation stage, so please be informed before you apply.
