Creating a Responsible Community by Bridging Digital Access What happens when your old laptop, computer, or mobile phone stops working? For most, it ends up as e-waste — dumped, forgotten, polluting landfills. India is the 5th largest generator of electronic waste, and nearly 85% of it goes untreated, releasing toxic chemicals that harm both nature and people. At Yantra Daan, we’re rethinking this problem. We built a platform that connects two realities: 🖥️ Households with unused or non-working devices 📚 Students and youth who cannot afford them Through our open-source platform, donors can offer their old laptops, computers, tabs, or phones — whether working or not. At the same time, students from underserved communities can register to request a device for their digital learning needs. This is not just about gadgets — it's about creating a responsible community.
