In the year 2020, ITTalieh Company was established as the result of an idea. After conducting extensive research, the idea for this project was developed. An application with a research proposal on digital, online, and smart insurance claims was submitted to the Central Insurance of Iran and the Insurance Research Institute. The proposal was accepted by the committee.
The next step was to talk to the managers of 15 insurance companies in Iran (Asia, Iran, Parsian, Kowsar, Mellat, etc.) in order to gather as much information as possible about their car departments. We also conducted research on the software and services that are available in other countries in order to compare them to our own.
Based on the findings of this study, there is a need for a smart service, and digitizing the claims process is not sufficient to address this need (since these steps have already been implemented). This research was undertaken with the aim of developing a solution based on this research and in the spirit of making this process as smart as possible, ITTalieh Company was formed in order to provide a solution, and its first product was Yara 724, an integrated car damage insurance system.
It comprises a set of steps that determine who is at fault, assess the damage caused, estimate its cost, and provide a network of parts suppliers and mechanics that can assist in the repair of the vehicle. As a consequence, this system covers the entire process from the moment the accident occurs to the moment the car is safely returned to its owner at the end of the process.
The events provided us with an opportunity to catch the attention of Central Insurance managers and, as the first startup and private group to operate in the country, we can now sign a 5-year contract in December 2021 with Central Insurance of Iran. As of today, Asia, Parsian, and Saman insurance companies are making use of this service.
